The pursuit to craft world-class Riesling brings Paul Hobbs back to his family roots in Upstate New York to create site-specific estate wines from the emerging Finger Lakes region.

Founded in 2013, Hillick & Hobbs is named in honor of his parents, Joan Hillick and Edward Hobbs, who met at nearby Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Planted high density on steep slate slopes, the estate boasts breathtaking views of Seneca Lake.

VISIT

Growing and selling grapes through the family farm taught Paul the importance of community, and cultivating strong bonds is a core tenet of Hillick & Hobbs. At our tasting room on Seneca Lake, we welcome visitors year-round. Explore our limited-production dry Rieslings while surrounded by panoramic views.

WINES

Communicating the one-of-a-kind personality of our vineyard through our wines is our greatest passion. We know that every vine exists within an individual microclimate, producing grapes with tiny nuances and singular characteristics. With every vintage, we work to translate this individuality by crafting wines with purity, energy, and balance.
